Life Coaching
I have really enjoyed the Coaching sessions I have provided this month. It was strange to move from online to face to face sessions. One of the advantages is that I can bring my tools to the sessions. We have been using paper and coloured pens, inspirational cards and crystals. There has been a playful element to our work.

Life Coaching is an investment in yourself. The investment is £80 per session (block of 4, £300 & block of 6, £440) payment plans available.

Positive Psychology & Meditation

The course focuses on looking after ourselves. I learnt the importance of having activities that are a relaxation and help with genuine rest. If we don't look to our own needs we are no good at helping anyone else.

Positive Psychology for Life Part 1
|
Feel more positive, happier, motivated and increase your self awareness. Each week we focus on one aspect of Positive Psychology and practice our learning during the session. Sessions are on Thursday evenings 7.30 - 9.00pm. Starting 28th October 2021

I found the sessions energising and was always surprised how quickly the time passed. I also liked meeting such a wide variety of people and using the break-out rooms to share experiences. The way people in the group support each other was lovely. You could definitely tell the people who have done this before which speaks volumes about the effectiveness of the approach.

Positive Psychology Practice Group
|
|
|
The membership group, Positive Psychology Practice Group, got off to a great start. We had our first outdoor session at Lepe Country Park. It was so lovely to meet up in person. The format of the group is a structured breathing exercise, a mindful walk, a sharing of our current situation ( as much or as little as we want to) and then an open discussion on any personal development/positive psychology theme. The theme in this session was time management.

This group is for anyone who has completed at least one of our courses and is a great way to practice the learning from the more structured groups. The monthly cost is £25. The membership fee also includes 20% off courses and coaching sessions.

Positivity: A Work In Progress
Podcasts are a great way to learn and they are free! I present a podcast, with Vie Portland, called "Positivity: A Work In Progress". Series Three will be released on 27th September and topics include Self Awareness, Money/Wealth, Value, & Communication

Laughter Yoga
There is a free online laughter yoga session every Saturday from 10-10.30am. There is also one running in the open air, weather permitting.

Laughter is a wonderful way to be present and connect with others.

Meet A Member
Frances Heather
Frances is Founder, Trustee and Treasurer of Creative Options, a Mental Health charity. Creative Options are currently running a project for suicide prevention called SPACE. Frances really values positive psychology and has introduced positive psychology courses and laughter yoga onto the SPACE project. Frances loves Lepe Country Park and has joined me there on many occasions. Frances painted this wonderful picture, inspired by seeing a rainbow when she was out walking. I was delighted when Frances gifted the painiting to me.
