Our theme this month is positive emotion. Barbara Fredrickson, a positive psychologist, identified 10 positive emotions, Hope, Love, Awe, Gratitude, Inspiration, Interest, Serenity, Amusement, Pride, and Joy. As I mention each one of the 10 positive emotions here they will be in italics. My life is filled with positive emotion and I Hope yours is too. It has been wonderful this month to reflect on the difference we are making to others lives. Often we don’t have the time or inclination to ponder on this until we are prompted to do so. I was nominated for a National Diversity award for Positive Role Model in the age category. I had so many votes I felt overwhelmed and humbled to receive comments about being an Inspiration. I am extremely Grateful to you for voting for me. I feel Proud to say that Series 5 of the podcast is released this week. Check out the first episode “Anxiety’ on the gold link button below. Wellbeing Day

Our second wellbeing day is on Saturday 27th May 10am-3.30pm, we would love to see you there. Drop in to any session or come for the whole day. Bring your own lunch, refreshments throughout the day are provided. Please bring a mat and a blanket if you would prefer to meditate laying down. Positive Psychology Practice Group

The online session is held on the first Wednesday evening of the month and the outdoor session is held on a Saturday afternoon. Each session has a theme related to positive psychology or personal development, there is a teaching element, space for open discussion and group coaching, and a short meditation. The cost of the sessions are £30 per month, or £15 individually. Come and join us to keep creating and maintaining your positive neural pathways.

June Sessions
13th June, online - The theme of 'Sleep'. How to sleep well.
24th June, outdoor - Exploring the positive emotion of Love.

July Sessions
5th July, online - The theme of 'Rest'. Making sure that you recharge.
15th July, outdoor - Listen to 'Having A Voice' podcast and then discuss in the session.

Exbury Gardens

Our Positive Psychology Practice group visited Exbury gardens this month. It was a beautiful day, we savoured the Serenity and Awe that nature provides and we had a lovely relaxing train ride.

Wellbeing For Men

This week I attended a local networking event. I met Andy, who was representing MANGANG, a Community Interest Company, who run a peer support group for men. I've included it here so that you can pass on to any man who needs support with their mental health. I love their strapline, It's not weak to speak.

Positivity: A Work In Progress

Our 5th Series of the podcast is released this week. The topic is Anxiety, which is a normal human response. Listen in to hear Vie and I share what anxiety means to us, how we manage anxiety in our lives and the strategies we recommend to manage anxiety.

Laughter Yoga

There is a free online laughter yoga session on Saturday 10th June 10am-10.30am and we will be celebrating our 4th birthday. Julie and I ran our first laughter yoga session together, in person, on 8th June 2019. Thank you Julie, for joining me to bring the positive emotion of Amusement into the community.

One Transformation - 100 strategies

This programme includes 1 & 1/2 coaching sessions per month, plus membership to positive psychology practice group and email support. I will be sharing 100 strategies for happiness & well-being. All for £100 a month for 6 months.
